Free Game is a slightly unusual browser game where two games run at the same time — one in background, one right in front of you.

In the background, a character is always running. arrow keys (or WASD) to move and Space (or ↑ / W) to jump, dodging pits and enemies as you go. farther you get, higher your distance score climbs — but hazards ramp up further you travel too.

Meanwhile, in the foreground, shady ads keep popping up one after another, and you have to tap the correct way to dismiss each one — click the wrong thing and it's a Miss. Three misses, or your background character falling into a pit or hitting an enemy, ends the game instantly.
